The National Museum of Asian Arts in Paris, or Musée Guimet, is putting on show a selection of exhibits from the museum's collection, as well as holding a series of workshops dedicated to the celebration of the Chinese New Year. According to the Chinese lunar calendar, 2015 New Year spans from 19th February until 7th February 2016. The celebrations would normally last a fortnight, i.e. from 19th February until 5th March 2015. In Chinese astrology, traditionally the goat means creative inspiration and imagination. People born under the sign of the goat tend to be pragmatic, of little materialistic inclination.
