SHARAZADE

The Cartier maison is proud to present its new collections in Asia and in the Middle East. Communication materials with an oriental touch, in which you can see pieces of fine jewellery carefully laid out over an elegant background of brightly coloured moucharabiehs, have been designed for international press releases. With its dense grid of intertwined lines, the traditional Arabian indoor ventilating device allows for peering through without being seen. Behind the see-through screen, one imagines a lady shying away from the eyes of someone she may well seek to charm... The graphic design in the style of One Thousand and One Nights suggests the historical relationship between the Cartier maison and worldwide royalties. With its unique style, the Jeweller to Princes turns every woman into Scheherazade, an expert in the art of seduction. The background texture brings to life the interlaced pattern of the wood and evokes the chiaroscuro atmosphere of a luxurious Eastern salon.
